Ben has been part of the South West UK’s underground dance scene for the last 3 decades.

He has a reputation built on versatility, skills and a positive attitude, with his roots firmly embedded in the vibrant and influential music background that you get from working in an independent record shop.

It was in Soundz records that Ben really fell in love with music and the impact it could have. Whether it’s talking about music, selling or playing records in the shop or playing the nightclubs in Torquay, he really had fallen in love with the spell that music had over him and people around him.

From playing his first record in Monroes (Happy Mondays Step On – Promo 1990, Ben was 15, Mike, his Dad, was playing there) to going on to play some of the biggest nights in the South West of England, the love affair for music and sharing it with others has always been the reason he spent the hours searching for tunes and in front of the decks. He has been the resident DJ at some of the biggest club nights in the South West of England including Scream at the Warehouse Plymouth, Full Tilt at Claires Torquay, Virus in Cornwall and The Monastery to name a few. Ben has also secured slots at well known clubs and festivals across the country.

During his time Ben has shared the bill with some of the biggest names in the underground dance scene, including Carl Cox, Sasha and Digweed, Adam Beyer, Mauro Picotto, Tony De Vit, David Guetta, Paul Oakenfold and Annie Mac to name a few. These days Ben’s sound is firmly in the house camp, but has influences from his decades of experience. Influenced by everything from disco to techno,

Ben’s sound is always groovy and definitely led by the crowd he is playing too.
